The Shepparton 10km offers a scenic, flat, and varied route that’s perfect for runners of all levels — whether you're chasing a fast time or enjoying your first event. Certified by AIMS, this officially measured 10km course showcases Shepparton's stunning river, park, and lakeside scenery in one smooth loop.
Starting from the energetic festival hub at Victoria Park Lake, runners begin with a half-loop around the lake’s foreshore, taking in wide open views and vibrant race-day atmosphere. The course then crosses the Goulburn River via the scenic suspension bridge — a highlight of the early kilometres — before leading runners toward the Midland Highway Causeway.
From there, the route stretches out onto a straight, tree-lined out-and-back section along the Midland, offering peaceful surroundings and plenty of space to settle into a rhythm. After reaching the turnaround point, runners retrace their steps back toward the Causeway, this time crossing the Goulburn River via the Midland Highway bridge to head into the home stretch.
The final kilometres bring runners back alongside Victoria Park Lake, where the lakeside path guides them into the finish precinct. With cheering spectators, music, and a vibrant festival atmosphere waiting, every runner is welcomed across the line to celebrate their achievement.
Aid stations are positioned at approximately 4km and 8km, offering hydration, electrolytes, and enthusiastic volunteer support throughout the race.
